Legal 0.3 — Refunds
Refund Policy
Effective date: 4 July 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for the prepaid, pay-as-you-go model used by the alawadi.cloud platform.
The Services are provided by Alawadi Cloud & DataCenters Colocation Services LLC (“alawadi.cloud,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of the alawadi.cloud platform.
1. Prepaid balance
You fund your account with a prepaid USD credit balance before using metered resources. Each service uses the meter published in the live rate card: provisioned resource time for containers and databases, tokens for AI inference, and storage usage for object and registry storage. A listed price is not a charge until metering for that service is enabled.
2. Consumed usage is non-refundable
Usage that has already been metered and charged against your balance is non-refundable, because the underlying compute, storage, and inference resources have already been delivered.
3. Unused prepaid balance
Remaining unused prepaid balance may be refundable on request, subject to verification and any non-refundable amounts noted below. To request a refund of unused balance, contact [email protected] from your account email.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. For balances funded by voucher, refunds (where available) follow the voucher terms below. Processing may take up to fourteen (14) business days.
Service credits issued under the SLA, and any discretionary balance credits, are not redeemable for cash and are excluded from any refund of unused balance, even after they have been applied to your balance.
4. Vouchers
Vouchers are prepaid credit codes. Once redeemed, a voucher's value becomes prepaid balance and follows the rules above. Unredeemed vouchers may be refundable or transferable subject to the terms shown at purchase; redeemed and partly consumed voucher value is treated as prepaid balance.
Vouchers and balances are not legal tender, earn no interest, and may carry an expiry where stated at purchase.
5. Future card payments
Card top-ups are not available today. If we introduce them later, refunds of unused balance funded by card would ordinarily return to the same card where the processor and applicable rules allow. Processor terms and any chargeback consequences will be disclosed before card top-ups become available.
6. Service issues and discretionary credits
Platform availability is governed by our Service Level Agreement (SLA); if we miss the committed availability, your remedy is the service credit described there, applied as prepaid balance credit and not redeemable for cash. Separately, if a platform fault causes a material problem not covered by the SLA, contact support — we may, at our discretion, issue balance credit. This does not change the non-refundable nature of correctly metered, delivered usage.
7. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from your account email with your account identifier and the reason for the request. We will respond within five (5) business days.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new effective date.
