S3-compatible Basin buckets in-region, with free egress

Create S3-compatible Basin buckets with their own scoped credentials, keep bytes in-region, and pay $0.04 per GB-month with zero egress fees.

What you get

S3-compatible API

Standard SDKs and tools call GetObject, PutObject, ListBucket, and DeleteObject against the Basin endpoint.

Per-bucket credentials

Every bucket ships its own scoped S3 key and secret, written into your project and private by default.

Free egress, always

Downloads cost $0 per GB. Free egress is a standing policy, not a promo rate that expires.

Stable endpoint

Point SDKs at s3.me-central-1.alawadi.cloud; basin.alawadi.cloud stays a permanent alias so saved configs keep working.

In-region storage

Objects live in the UAE (me-central-1) region, next to your containers and databases for low-latency reads.

Pay with vouchers

Storage is metered hourly against your prepaid balance; top up with a voucher, no card needed.

How it works

  1. 01

    Create a bucket

Add a bucket to your project. It provisions private, with its own scoped S3 key and secret.

  2. 02

    Wire up your SDK

Set the endpoint to basin.alawadi.cloud, drop in the bucket credentials, and start putting objects.

  3. 03

    Pay as you store

We meter GB-hours hourly and debit your prepaid balance at $0.04 per GB-month. Egress stays free.

Pricing

Each service uses its published meter against prepaid credit: provisioned time, storage, tokens, or another listed unit. Estimate any setup in the calculator.

Questions

Which S3 operations are supported?

Standard object calls like GetObject, PutObject, ListBucket, and DeleteObject work with common S3 SDKs and tools.

What does egress cost?

Nothing. Egress is $0 per GB, and that is a standing differentiator, not a temporary rate that expires.

Are buckets public?

No. Every bucket is private by default with its own scoped credentials. Public-read buckets are not offered yet.

Which region stores my data?

The UAE (me-central-1) region today. Reach it at s3.me-central-1.alawadi.cloud or the basin.alawadi.cloud alias.
